Summary/Overall Purpose of Role:
The Support Engineer will be responsible for providing technical assistance on all company range of product installed and/or configured on any supported Windows platforms.
This position may also include provision of support on malware related issues. In addition to the direct support to customers/resellers, the Support Engineer will also handle escalated issues via our preferred partners, distributors as well as internal escalation.
The objective will be to deliver Technical Support with the aim of driving high Customer Satisfaction levels.
The Support Engineer will provide end to end management of all handled cases where the primary role of the Support Engineer is to handle Preferred partners/Distributors and customer/resellers Technical queries, this role will also involve various tasks aiming at enhancing the internal support organization, partner support and product portfolio.
Duties & Responsibilities:
First point of contact providing phone/e-mail, online based support to customers and resellers
- Log and process support calls, if necessary escalate to Core support engineers.
- Provide first and second level of troubleshooting to our direct customer base
- Provide second level to our preferred partners and distributors in case of warm transfer from the Helpdesk
- Initiate Outbound calls to all customers/resellers/preferred partners and Distributors based on guidelines
- Provision of detailed and accurate guidance on the use of company products to supported customer base.
- Interact with other members of the team to provide solutions to minor technical issues.
- To bring any unusual customer problems or incidents to the attention of management and Customer Care where appropriate

SUMMARY

A global leader in antivirus and content security software and services is looking for experienced SMB Sales Executive (German, Italian or French) to actively manage and work existing reseller accounts to maintain and grow revenue streams. This will involve maximising the potential of the Reseller Account base. There may also be an element of re-establishing lapsed reseller accounts and development of new reseller accounts..
The main responsibilities of this role include:
- Achieve Revenue quota
- Reseller Account management, pipeline identification, high conversion to closure rate with excellent coverage over the reseller account base
- Outbound calling to your assigned reseller accounts, emailing communication, reseller bank coordination and overall management of the sales pipeline through the sales channel.
- Achieve revenue quota and key accountabilities and KPI’s.
- Ensure quality conversations are completed and the reseller is evaluated in relation to revenue potential, reseller profiling.
- Update management on an on-going basis with regards to information regarding local market opportunity and competitor activity.
- Direct contact with reseller accounts and/or end users to qualify leads and sales opportunities concerning company products.

The Pre-Sales Engineer will focus on taking ownership of the prime technical relationship with our pre-sales customers to drive customer satisfaction by proactively managing and delivering technical information to our customers both on-site, on-line or via telephone phone. - Provide technical knowledge within Pre-Sales Customer environments.
- Attend sales presentations, marketing and user group events.
- Maintain and expand working knowledge of current and beta company Products.
- Provide consultation to pre-sales customers and help clients with the planning and implementation of company software products.
- Provide product training to both sales and company Premium Resellers.
- Provide technical back up to Sales.
- Provide software/network troubleshooting on minor technical issues and effectively interact with the engineering teams to provide solutions to more complex technical problems
To be successful in this role you will have:
- At least 2-3 years Sales Engineer experience in computer software or systems environment in the high-tech industry.
- Strong hands on experience with Windows NT/2000 or Unix (AS/400 or S390) operating systems.
- At least 2 years experience in one or more of the following: Server/Desktop OS, Networking Architecture, Messaging Servers, Firewalls, Inter-relational products and peripherals customized to each client network.
- MCP/MCSA certification on Windows NT4.0 or 2000.
- Strong hands on experience of effectively instructing or guiding customers on-site, on-line and via telephone.
- Strong proven ability to manage your time effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, customer service, account management and negotiation skills with the ability to interface with a diverse set of clients.
- Degree qualified in IT or related discipline.
- Must be willing to travel.

Summary:
In this role the Level 1 Technical Support Engineer will be responsible for providing technical
support on all company anti-virus software installed and/or configured on any of the
following platforms – Windows NT, Windows 2000 and UNIX.
The main responsibilities of this role include:
- First point of contact providing phone based support to customers and resellers.

This will involve maximising the potential of the Reseller Account base. There may also be an element of re-establishing lapsed reseller accounts and development of new reseller accounts.
The main responsibilities of this role include:
- Achieve Revenue quota
- Reseller Account management, pipeline identification, high conversion to closure rate with excellent coverage over the reseller account base
- Outbound calling to your assigned reseller accounts, emailing communication, reseller bank coordination and overall management of the sales pipeline through the sales channel.
- Achieve revenue quota and key accountabilities and KPI’s.
